The new Opera House and the Norwegian National Ballet, analyzed several entries ago, designed by the architectural firm Snohetta, today won the Architectural Award Contemporary European Union Mies van der Rohe.
The jury, chaired by Francis Rambert, this building stand "is more than just a building, since it is an urban space, a gift to the city, which can be considered a catalyst for all energy and a symbol of the regeneration of its urban fabric. "
