AA / IE MADRID SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENT ASSISTANTS

Next July, the Architectural Association (London) and the IE School of Architecture (Madrid / Segovia) organize a new Summer School to be held in Madrid. The course will be structured as an intensive workshop for projects lasting 10 days and is open to architecture students, young architects and designers from other fields. Participants will explore new approaches to architectural design in the context of one of the areas symbolic center of Madrid: AZCA.

The IE School of Architecture announces 5 scholarships to attend the Summer School as a Student Assistant. The contest is for all students of architecture, as well as those registered in the thesis.
students will be able to benefit from free tuition to attend the course. In return, Student Assistant perform tasks which involves a collaboration with professors and tutors of group activities that require their help.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
§ Be enrolled during the 2008-2009 academic year, at least one subject, the IE School of Architecture.
§ Having a good knowledge of English, spoken and written, demonstrated by formal qualifications or accredited examination.
§ Demonstrate high interest in the field to develop in the course, and be open to experiential and cultural exchange that this type of activities offered. DOCUMENTATION

-Short CV (1 DIN A-4 on one side)

-Portfolio (3 DIN A-4 on one side) of projects completed during the race.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES
Candidate selection is made according to the following criteria:
-Transcript.
-level English.
-Portfolio.

ECONOMIC ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP The scholarship granted
correspond to the total amount of tuition fees (800 €).
